I love the idea of having a signature scent that I enjoy wearing so much I can commit to it for years. As a little girl, I remember my mom wearing White Diamonds and every time I smell Chanel’s Mademoiselle I think of my sister Molly. I was obsessed with Juicy by Juicy Couture when I was younger, and over the years I’ve evolved into a Jo Malone connoisseur. I love Jo Malone’s Peony and Blush Suede scent so much that I even painted a bottle of it! As scent is so closely tied to memory, different perfumes can instantly transport me back to certain cities, stages, and moments in my life in the most unbelievable way. I’m always on the lookout for the new scent that will encapsulate the next season of my life, and I recently stumbled onto a really good one.

The Clean Fragrance Brand You’re Going To Love

Enter the brand Dossier. Clean, ethically sourced, and at an incredibly reasonable price point, the brand has easily become a fast favorite of mine. Dossier was created out of a desire to make premium fragrances accessible to everyone, by eliminating the markup that comes with all the added costs of fancy packaging and celebrity endorsements. The packaging and names are modern and simplistic, so they might not be the most beautiful bottles you own but the scents and price point definitely make up for it.

How I Found Dossier

I initially heard about brand from a colleague at work. One day she walked past my desk and left a trail of the best smelling fragrance lingering in her wake. When I inquired that I just had to know what it was she was wearing, she shared the name with me and I felt like I was being initiated into a secret cool girl scent club. Though unfamiliar with the other scents, I loved that it was a clean beauty brand and immediately ordered three bottles, although I was tempted to get more!

My Favorite Dossier Scent

Currently my favorite Dossier scent is Ambery Saffron, which is inspired by MFK’s Baccarat Rouge 540 but without the $325 price tag. Most scents cost between $29 and $49, and the price is further discounted depending on how many scents you purchase at one time.

I plan on repurchasing the Ambery Saffron, which you can see I’m running pretty low on, and also trying out a few other new-to-me fragrances as well.
